The Regency decided that its latest single, “Love Lately” is the embodiment of this new genre. The grunge fuzzy guitar is perfectly played to set the rhythmic tone and feel to get your head rocking, but the dance percussions and melodic bells truly helps create the new dynamic. Raw, grungy vocals pair with old-school dance beats for a track that is as infectious as it is emotive.
